June 29th and 30th 2024: Horse and Rider Chiropractic Clinic

Location: Winding Creek Equestrian

Description: One of the few times horses and riders can be treated in the same place as one complex kinematic unit. Majority of the time a rider is treated on a static chiropractic table with a chiropractor that may know something about horseback riding. The horse is treated by a separate chiropractor or veterinarian.

At this clinic the horse and rider will be treated as one moving unit and treated together. The addition of treating the rider on a horse riding simulator allows Dr. Bonnie Harder DC, VSMT to see how the rider’s joints and muscles are moving/activating (or not) with the horse prior to placing them back on their chiropractic treated horse. Then assessing them together.

Day 1: Horseback riders receive chiropractic with Equ.S.T. (equine simulator technique) receive tailored chiropractic treatment to improve their horseback riding

Day 2: Horses treated with chiropractic treatment, tack is checked, and then horseback riders and horses are put back together to help complete a balanced and comfortable ride with improved rider and horse communication.
